The NYC Free Summer Events Guide is a comprehensive list of free arts, sports, social, and educational events for the entire summer. Take advantage of all that New York City has to offer!
NYC Free Summer Events started as a Word document in 2005 that I compiled for myself and a few friends because I could not find a listing of summer events that was in an easy-to-use format and targeted urban professionals such as ourselves. The document was forwarded so many times that by the next summer friends of friends were requesting I create it again. At that point the guide became an annual occurrence. In 2011, my background in computer programming prompted me to build my own Android app, and the iOS app and website soon followed. Today the guide continues to help thousands of people maximize their summer fun every year!
